Our History
In 1931, during the heart of the Great Depression, Morse & Leona Bushey were plagued with the difficulty of finding work like so many others. They decided to try their hand at something that they had a little niche for.
They began repairing and rebuilding radiators and heat exchangers for farmers and other industries. Charging just a few pennies per fix, it was just enough to make ends meet. Realizing they had a knack for the business, the Bushey Radiator Company was born.
Soon after, another niche market came into play: Auto and Plate Glass. Since 1931, the company has changed with the times and trends to add a number of other niche markets to the roster. From radiators and air-conditioning to auto glass and from fuel tanks and supplies to complete automotive service, we're still proudly serving Michigan with a “Quality Always” attitude.
